A COVID-19 Update from Tom Zimbrick.  


Dear Friends,

Over this past year, we’ve made lots of changes to continue to safely help customers with their automotive needs.  All Zimbrick stores continue to put the safety and well-being of our customers and our employees at the top of our priority list.

If you haven’t been inside our showrooms, service drives, or body shops during the pandemic, you may notice that a few things are different.  

Working together to keep everyone safe.

What has changed:
  • We encourage you to wear a mask if you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 
  • If a customer comes in wearing a mask, or prefers to work with someone who is masked, Zimbrick employees will wear a mask.  It is just one way we show care, concern and respect for each other.
Safety procedures that continue:
  • We are a handshake-free zone; however we’ll still greet you with a warm welcome! 
  • Hand sanitizer and plexiglass barriers will remain in place as will the additional cleaning protocols throughout the day and after hours.  For you safety, you may also see signage restricting the number of people in an area.  
  • Show floor vehicles will remain locked.  These show floor vehicles can be opened for a Customer by a Salesperson.  After the customer is finished with the vehicle, the Salesperson will disinfect and lock the vehicle.  
  • Prior to any test drive, we disinfect vehicles. 
  • Scheduling appointments is still a good idea and helps us limit the number of people in one area. Prior to the appointment, we can do a great deal to prepare in advance through phone, email and tools on our websites. Your time is valuable, and we want to get you on your way as quickly as possible!
 
At Zimbrick, you always have convenient digital options.

We can provide safe and reliable transportation in a virtual or socially distant way. We want to be as flexible as you need us to be, and we are working hard to find ways to say "Yes."

You can buy a vehicle from home:

  • You can get a virtual walk around of the vehicle, noting the specific features that you want and need.
  • You can get a trade appraisal, without coming to the dealership. You would use your phone to take pictures and videos of your vehicle so we can get an accurate description of the miles and condition.
  • You can get a price quote over the phone and by email or text.
  • You can review financing and protection options for your vehicle online and over the phone.
  • You can arrange financing, with our many lenders, over the phone or by email.
  • We can deliver your new or used vehicle, with certain restrictions, to your home, our dealership, or at a place of business.
  • Our technology will provide options for you to make a decision that is right for you.
If you prefer touch-less service, we can provide this experience through scheduled appointments.
  • You can schedule service online on any of our websites or by phone.
  • For after-hours service, please use our night drop boxes. During normal hours, please pull into the service drive, but stay in your vehicle.
  • Our service drives are equipped with disinfectant power sprayers.  We will disinfect the common touch points of your vehicle when we receive it and again after service is completed.
  • Your Service Advisor will send you updates on your vehicle through phone, email or text.
  • Payments can be made over the phone to help keep the process touch-less.
  • Notify your Service Advisor when you'd like to pick up your vehicle. Your disinfected vehicle will be waiting outside, ready for you to drive away.
  • If you need parts, please call us.  We can arrange for curbside pickup.
 
Our Body Shop estimates and drop offs can be touch-less as well.

  • You can schedule a touch-less estimate at any of our 3 locations. You can also request an estimate directly from our body shop website on your smartphone. Using your mobile phone, the tool on our site will ask you to enter your contact information, basic information about your vehicle and the location of the damage. All you need do is let the tool walk you through exactly which photos to take.
  • We will call, text or email your estimate.
  • If you wish, you can also schedule an estimate appointment online, or come into one of our 3 locations during operating hours.
  • When you arrive for your appointment, please pull directly into the body shop drive, but stay in your vehicle.
  • We may ask you to step out of the vehicle in order to provide safe social distancing while we make note of your mileage and your VIN number. For your safety, you may also see signage restricting the number of people in an area.
  • If you choose to drop off your vehicle for repairs after our operating hours, please use our night drop boxes.
  • Your Estimator will send you updates on your vehicle through phone, email or text.
  • Payments for deductibles can be made over the phone to help keep the process touch-less.
